Operation Prom Dress Project Launches Website
Birmingham, AL (August 5, 2011) – The Operation Prom Dress Project (OPD) launches its new website as a vital communication tool for interested participants, volunteers, prospective sponsors, and the community as a whole.
The website reflects its vision of enriching confidence and positive self-image in teenage girls. The primary goal of the OPD Project is to serve as a permanent fashion incubator that assists Birmingham-area high school girls who are unable to purchase their own prom attire.
About OPD:
The Operation Prom Dress (OPD) Project is a community initiative that was initially started to provide a level of disaster relief for the April 2011 tornado victims. OPD is dedicated to promoting confidence and positive self-image in teenage girls. Our mission is to provide fashionable formal gowns to Birmingham and Tuscaloosa area girls who are unable to purchase their own dance attire.
