Annual Prom Dress Giveaway to Be Held Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, AL – As high school prom season approaches, the costs of a big night out begin to add up for Birmingham area teens and their parents.

For the second year, Operation Prom Dress Project is stepping up to help local girls find the perfect prom dress at the perfect price, free.

The project organizer gathered donations for students whose families may not have been able to splurge on fancy dresses this year.

The young ladies will have a lot of dresses to choose from. Some worn once, and several dresses haven’t been worn at all, so a lot of new and up-to-date things to choose from.

The dress giveaway will be held Saturday, March 9th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Aveda Institute located at 3200 Galleria Circle Birmingham, AL.
